Position Overview
Our client is seeking an experienced Technical Program Manager to lead high-impact initiatives across the organization. This role will support large-scale technical programs ranging from deep platform improvements to the implementation of products, tools, processes, and metrics.
The Technical Program Manager will help standardize execution, improve efficiency and consistency, resolve dependencies, evaluate technical risk, track progress, and drive accountability across key initiatives. This role requires strong communication with cross-functional teams, technical stakeholders, product leaders, engineering teams, operations leadership, and executive leadership.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead large-scale initiatives focused on building new products, platforms, and technical capabilities for client
- Manage the full lifecycle of key programs, including functional planning, stakeholder communication, risk management, and issue resolution.
- Identify cross-functional dependencies and establish priorities to support smooth execution with minimal disruption to daily operations.
- Partner closely with product, design, engineering, infrastructure, and operations leadership to drive program success.
- Communicate program progress, risks, timelines, and business impact to executive leadership.
- Drive strategic planning and execution of high-impact programs across product development and infrastructure teams.
- Plan, manage, and deliver multiple technical programs spanning multiple teams, organizations, and locations.
- Contribute to our agile planning practices, including quarterly and annual planning.
- Drive operational excellence, cost optimization, and process improvement across the organization.
- Use data, metrics, and well-written executive-level narratives to create clarity and support decision-making.
- Establish accountability across teams and ensure milestones, deliverables, and dependencies are clearly tracked.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field.
- 7+ years of Technical Program Management experience in a large, fast-paced technology environment.
- Proven experience managing large-scale, complex migrations and integrations.
- Experience leading initiatives across multiple teams, managers, and technical stakeholders.
- Strong background managing technical programs involving enterprise platforms, corporate systems, identity governance, collaboration/productivity tools, or infrastructure transformation.
- Familiarity with modern software development practices and technologies, including containerization, microservices architecture, continuous integration, and continuous delivery.
- Knowledge of AWS, modern cloud architectures, security platforms, and security frameworks.
- Experience with scripting languages and SQL queries.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to influence stakeholders and leadership through clear, data-driven reporting.
- Proven ability to create urgency, drive accountability, and deliver results in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment.
