Registered Nurse – ICU

Registered Nurse (RN) | Intensive Care Unit (ICU) / Critical Care
Location: Albuquerque, New Mexico


Pay: $1,500 to $1,750 per week
Shift Information: Nights – 3 days x 13 hours
Contract Duration: 13 Weeks
Start Date: ASAP
Pay Rate: Negotiable based on experience


We are actively hiring an experienced ICU Registered Nurse (ICU RN) for one of our clients, a leading acute care hospital in Albuquerque, New Mexico. This position offers the opportunity to work in a high-acuity Intensive Care Unit caring for critically ill adult patients while collaborating with a multidisciplinary critical care team. You will provide advanced nursing care for complex ICU patients, including ventilator management, vasoactive drips, hemodynamic monitoring, and critical care interventions.

Duration:
13 Weeks

Shift: Night Shift – 3×12 Hours (6:30 PM – 7:00 AM)
Pay Range: Weekly ($1500 – $1750)


Responsibilities
• Provide comprehensive care for critically ill adult ICU patients

• Manage ventilated patients, BiPAP/CPAP, HFNC, and respiratory support therapies
• Administer and titrate cardiac and vasoactive drips
• Monitor arterial lines, central lines, PICC lines, and hemodynamic status
• Manage patients with stroke, renal failure, multisystem organ dysfunction, and post-surgical conditions
• Interpret cardiac rhythms, ABGs, and respond to emergent situations
• Collaborate with physicians, respiratory therapists, pharmacists, and interdisciplinary care teams
• Maintain accurate documentation and patient assessments



Requirements

• Minimum 1–2 years of recent ICU experience required
• ACLS and NIHSS certifications required
• BLS certification required prior to start
• Strong experience with ventilators, critical care drips, and hemodynamic monitoring preferred
• First-time travelers are welcome to apply
• Pending New Mexico RN License accepted
