Registered Nurse (RN) | Pediatric CVOR
Location: Burlington, Vermont


Pay: $3,000 to $3,200 per week
Shift Information: Days – 3 days x 13 hours
Contract Duration: 16 Weeks
Start Date: ASAP

We are actively hiring an experienced CVOR Registered Nurse (CVOR RN) for one of our clients, a prestigious academic medical center in Burlington, Vermont. This opportunity is ideal for a highly skilled CVOR nurse with recent open-heart surgery experience who is comfortable both circulating and scrubbing cardiovascular procedures in a fast-paced surgical environment. You will work alongside leading cardiovascular surgeons and multidisciplinary surgical teams in one of the region’s premier teaching hospitals.

Duration: 16 Weeks
Shift: 3×12 Days (6:45 AM – 7:15 PM)
Pay Range: Weekly ($4,300 – $4,800)

Responsibilities

• Scrub and circulate for cardiovascular and open-heart surgical procedures
• Assist with CABG, valve replacement, vascular, and other complex cardiac cases
• Maintain sterile field and ensure patient safety throughout procedures
• Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesia providers, perfusionists, and OR staff
• Float to other OR specialties as needed, including General, Ortho, Neuro, and ENT (circulating only)
• Accurately document patient care using Epic EMR

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of recent CVOR/Open Heart OR experience required
• Must have recent experience scrubbing open-heart cases
• Prior travel experience required
• BLS certification required
• CNOR certification preferred
• Epic experience within the last 2 years required
• Experience in a large academic or teaching hospital required
• Strong cardiovascular surgical knowledge and ability to work independently
