This role is responsible for providing strategic planning support across all media channels as well as executing portions of digital campaigns as needed. Candidate must have solid foundation of knowledge and experience across all media channels, with an emphasis on digital media. Candidate must exhibit a proven ability to plan, execute, report, and analyze digital campaigns across paid social, display, native and video. A firm understanding of both branding principles and ROI driving tactics will be critical for this position.

 

Responsibilities

  • Organize, implement, and manage the day-to-day media planning process
  • Contribute to media strategy for clients planning on a local and national basis
  • Utilize available media planning tools (MRI & Kantar), other industry research and clients historical media activity reports to develop media plans
  • Aid in the development of campaign set-up, including testing methodologies, reporting requirements and campaign construction
  • Maintain budgets, flowcharts, creative trafficking, and invoicing
  • Strong client interaction on a day-to-day basis
  • Participate in the development of presentations for both existing and new clients
  • Update Communications Strategy Supervisor on status of current accounts on an ongoing basis, identifying opportunities to optimize for maximum performance and elevating key issues or concerns as they arise
  • Reviews all reporting dashboards for accuracy, identifies key performance insights and is integral in presentations to clients on an ongoing basis.
  • Maintain a positive rapport with media vendor partners, keeping up to date with the latest trends in the marketplace.
  • Assist Supervisor in RFP process determining consideration set, developing RFPs, evaluation of RFPs, and managing vendor communication.
  • Manage one Assistant Media Planner delegating tasks, providing mentorship, and review of APs work.

 

Requirements

  • Minimum of 2-3 years media planning experience (focus on digital)
  • Experience in digital and social activation including familiarity with Google Ads/ Campaign 360 (trafficking and reporting) and Social UIs (Facebook/Twitter/Pinterest, etc)
  • Strong leadership and problem-solving skills
  • Self-motivated with the ability to stay on task and manage deliverables in a remote setting
  • Dependable, proactive, detail oriented, excellent attendance
  • Ability to balance multiple assignments and set priorities
  • Excellent verbal and written communication
  • Demonstrate excellent analytical skills
  • Strong Microsoft Excel skills a must
  • Strong Microsoft PowerPoint skills are preferred
  • Bachelors degree in related field
