Position responsibilities:Create accurate and timely invoices and distribute to customersCommunicate effectively with all levels of departments to resolve invoice and account issuesInvestigate and resolve customer inquiriesAccurately input web portal invoices where necessaryIdentify and correct EDI Acknowledgement errorsCollect past due ARReduce Days-Sales-Outstanding and Average Days to PayReconciliation of customer accountsMonitoring customer account details for non-payments and delayed paymentsProcess adjustments, write offs, offsets, and refund requestsDevelop, maintain and distribute ad-hoc reports as neededWrite SOP Process documentation, recommend and implement process improvementsCoordinate with internal team on variances, discrepancies and new recommendationsMaintain files and documentation thoroughly and accurately, in accordance with company policy and accepted accounting practicesProtect organization's value by keeping information confidential.Update job knowledge by participating in educational opportunitiesAssist with projects as needed and perform other related duties as requiredRole qualifications:Bachelor's degree in accounting or related field preferred5 plus years of Accounting or related experienceAdvanced knowledge of Microsoft Office (emphasis on Excel & Access)Expert on Eclipse ERP or ability to learn unique systems quicklyAbility to manage multiple projects and follow throughExcellent communication skillsAbility to complete projects timely and accurately criticalMust be detail oriented with strong organizational and analytical skillsWork well with internal and external "customers" in fast paced, dynamic environmentMust pass drug/alcohol and background checkExperience with ISO, Total Quality Management (TQM), and /or 5SEssential skills and experience: Ability to analyze data, determine root cause, and resolutionEffective verbal and written English communicationAttention to detail and high level of accuracyOrganization and time managementConfidentiality concerning financial informationProcess documentation and improvementInforming others, effective reporting skillsEffective creation and application of workplace organization methodologiesISO, and/or 5S experience and knowledgeReporting to this position: No direct reportsPhysical demands and work environment: The physical demands and work environment characteristics described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
