PORTLAND, OR (OPEN TO ALL US CANDIDATES)-First-time parents, 15-minutes from downtown Portland seek a warm and upbeat FULL-TIME NANNY for their active and happy 1-year-old girl. Position can be LIVE IN or LIVE OUT. Live in accommodations consist of a private full bedroom and bathroom in the basement of the home, as well as an occasionally shared living space and a garage access. Nanny must have their own vehicle, although little-to-no driving is required while on the job. Hours are typically from 9am-1pm Mondays and 8am-6pm most other days aside from half days every second Wednesday and Mom off and in the home every other Thursday. Forty hours per week guaranteed! Duties are mainly focused on the child and her care, wellbeing and growth. They would love someone who is eager to contribute to the family as well with laundry, occasional meal prep, tidying toys and common spaces, etc. Their little girl is active, full of energy and on the move! Thus, they seek a nanny who is active and energetic to keep up with her. She is curious, observant and opinionated. The family would love a nanny who not only takes excellent care of their daughter, but who can also help her develop mentally, emotionally, and physically. Must be dependable, cautious, thoughtful, mature, energetic and hard working. They seek a nanny who is truly passionate about being a nanny and would ideally like someone with significant prior experience caring for toddlers specifically. Additionally, a nanny with medical experience/certifications is ideal. They are risk averse, safety oriented and have been particularly cautious about Covid, and therefore want someone that shares the same beliefs and takes appropriate measures to ensure the safety of themselves and the family. Must be fully vaccinated for Covid; Covid Booster; TDAP; Influenza; Measles, Mumps, Rubella (MMR), as well as be up to date on CPR/first aid certifications. The ideal candidate is warm, upbeat and brings a positive energy to the home! The family reciprocates the same fun-loving energy in return. Pay is $25-30/hour depending on experience.
