Project Engineer

Job Description Your Impact We are searching for a highly skilled Project/Mechanical Engineer who has related engineering background, with experience in the production of packaged process equipment for the Oil & Gas Industry. To be successful in this role, a candidate must be passionate about engineering work and love problem solving, detail-oriented, and a big-picture thinker, with the ability to understand the schedule, and budget limit of the overall project. Key Responsibilities will include but not limited to: * Review technical specifications required for projects. * Specify equipment and components used in process equipment. * Work directly with internal Engineering personnel to ensure document deliverables are on time and in compliance with project specifications. * Work with the design team to create all designs and drawings needed for project execution. * Define scope of supply for suppliers, and write procurement specifications and requests for quotation. * Review and approve physical designs of equipment from both our internal engineering department as well as from third-party suppliers. * Periodic inspection of equipment from suppliers. * Participate in regular status meetings and have all information ready to report to others. * May be called upon to visit clients or suppliers at their domestic or international locations.
