HR Manager/HRBP job responsibilities include but not limited to :

  • Support departments in the development and delivery of strategic HR plans to fit with the overall business direction
  • Oversee, refine, and execute employee standards and procedures, using and improving HR existing and recommended systems and processes
  • Provide support and guidance to HR team, management, and other staff when complex, specialized, and sensitive questions and issues arise; execute routine tasks in delicate circumstances such as providing reasonable accommodations, investigation, and terminations
  • Manage the talent acquisition and management process, including performance evaluation, recruitment, training and development, succession planning
  • Partner with division managers to understand skills and competencies of current staff and openings, engagement and motivation, training and development, and employee relations
  • Develop workforce planning by gaining solid understanding of each state minimum wage, labor trends and analysis
  • Create learning and development programs and initiatives that provide internal development
  • Oversee employee disciplinary meetings, terminations, and investigations
  • Maintain compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, and recommended best practices; review policies and practices to maintain compliance
  • Maintain knowledge of HRIS system, wage and hour laws, best practices, compliance and employment laws and changes
  • Perform other projects/duties as assigned



  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field required or equivalent number of years
  • Minimum of five years of human resource management experience
  • PHR, SPRR, SHRM-CP or SHRM-SCP highly desired
  • Bilingual skills in Korean
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Excellent interpersonal, negotiation, and conflict resolution skills
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to act with integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality
  • Thorough knowledge of employment-related laws and regulation
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
  • Proficiency with or the ability to quickly learn the organizations HRIS and talent management systems
