Title: Patient Financial Rep II Location: FL-Tampa-BayCare Medical Group Central Business Office Job Number: 209131 BayCare is currently in search of our newest Team Member who is passionate about providing outstanding customer service to our community. We are looking for an individual seeking a career opportunity with one of the largest employers within the Tampa Bay area. The **Patient Financial Representative II** will work remote on a full-time basis after training in Clearwater, FL. This team member must reside in Florida. **Responsibilities:** + The Patient Financial Representative II performs patient accounting functions including billing, collections, customer service, and cash applications + Documents patient account activity, responds to customer billing inquiries, posts payments, implements billing guideline changes and identifies trends at a payer specific level + Applies federal and state guidelines to collection efforts, interprets and follows up on Explanation of Benefits, inventories supplies, reports, and tracks equipment maintenance, performs other duties as assigned. **Specific Skills** + Organizational skills + Administrative and clerical skills + Knowledge of regulatory standards appropriate to position + Medical terminology use and understanding + Customer service skills + Written and verbal communication skills + Work with a team + Computer skills appropriate to position **Why BayCare?** BayCare Medical Group is Tampa Bay's leading multi-specialty group providing primary and specialty care throughout the Tampa Bay and west central Florida regions.
