Attends regular trainings to keep abreast of policy updates, and best business practices. Holds annual travel training for all Library staff, and on individual basis as necessary25% Initiates all requisitions for department including reoccurring maintenance contracts, supplier website requests and service contracts. Prepares all change orders and receipts in Workday. Handles supply requests for the Libraries, receives deliveries and inspects for accuracy. Processes expense reports for purchases made on LaCarte card. Submits reimbursement requests to the Foundation when necessary15% Processes biweekly payroll for Libraries student assistants, ensuring all timesheets match Workday submissions. Ensure all time is submitted and approved by supervisors in Workday. Works closely with Libraries Student Supervisors on Student Assistant best practices15% Other responsibilities include: Processes deposits for all state and foundation accounts. Reviews outstanding departmental LaCarte transactions to ensure timely reconciliation. Serves as backup Student Employment Partner, and backup to the Facilities Manager. Student supervisor of Administrative Services Student Assistants/Graduate Assistants. Serves as front desk representative, greeting and directing visitors to appropriate location5% Misc duties as assigned Minimum QualificationsBachelor's degree from an accredited college or university 1-2 years of related experience Proficient in Microsoft Office products including Excel, Word and AccessPreferred QualificationsBachelor's or Master's degree from accredited university in business related field, including accounting courses2-3 years of related experienceExperience with WorkdayAdditional Job Description:Special Instructions:Administrative Services serves as the business and financial unit for LSU Libraries.
