Job Description
Under the supervision of the Camp Director, perform various duties relating to providing hospitality & housekeeping services for staff and visitors.Complete work assignments as directed by Divisional Youth Secretary. Assignments may include, but will not be limited to:Maintain the canteen, operate sales of items to participants.Keep inventory and arrange purchase of snack items for sale as needed. Maintain the staff lounge, prepare snack every evening for staff to be served at 8pm. Clean and disinfect various program areas as per the facility’s/ program covid protocols. Distribute food to staff and participants for lunch and dinner. Organize and keep non assigned activity areas in a orderly fashion and disinfect according to the facility’s/ program covid protocols. Maintain grounds to reduce risk of danger or injury to persons using grounds and facilities. Refill water stations for campers and order inventory needed to keep up with the water station.Monitor hand washing stations supplies and order or replace items needed for them as necessary. Be part of Jesus Theater.Assist in the leading of Rainy-Day Rotations.College student or at least 18 years of ageValid driver’s license, approval to drive Salvation Army vehiclesAbility to lift and carry objects weighing up to 50 pounds.Self-motivated, responsible an independent worker, and organized
