Metropolitan area--hybrid/virtual.**Responsibilities include but are not limited to:**+ Provides technical/management leadership on major tasks or technology assignments.+ Establishes goals and plans that meet project objectives.+ Point of contact to customer for performance, compliance, and contractual matters.+ Align all mission and contract requirements, establishes project plan with specific milestones and key activities,+ Communicates throughout the transition to mission partners every detail of the projected task, associated dependencies, and target resources for mission support and accomplishment+ Execute all transition activities designated in support of the customer and contract mission+ In close coordination with the Program Manager, aligns mission key factors with transition requirements to ensure direct, proactive measurements of mission support throughout the transition engagement+ Conduct regular meetings to coordinate the transition effort and to synch corporate support including HR, recruiting, assessment and selection, travel, etc.+ Monitor and tracks transition metrics to evaluate and improve performance+ Execute Transition-In Plan, following task order award and evaluate performance results to recommend major changes affecting short-term project growth and success+ Serves as liaison between senior management and customer to address and resolve transition issues and implement improvements.+ Lead transition meetings and conduct and/or participate in formal and informal reviews at pre-determined points throughout the transition life cycle+ Expertise is far-reaching and used to provide leadership, guidance, Decision making and domain knowledge for transition services to provide critical direction and impact on project implementations.+ Leadership of a large team.**Basic Qualifications:**+ A Master's degree in a management discipline+ A minimum of (20) twenty-years of relevant experience+ Ability to lead projects from concept to closure+ Solid understanding of program, scope, and transition management+ Experience in transitioning large contracts+ Knowledge of one or more environments,software development, Multi cloud, Service desk, NOC/SOC+ Excellent written and verbal communication skills.+ Demonstrated initiative, sound judgment, effective decision-making**Preferred Qualifications:**+ A Doctorate's Degree in a Management+ Multiple industry certifications relevant to job duties+ Proven experience working in or leading teams as a Transition Manager in large complex environments+ knowledge and experience working in an Agile, Hybrid Multi cloud, cross functional team environment.+ Understanding of Service desk, NOC/SOC and Tech refresh environments.+ Experience with cybersecurity technology standards, policies, and procedures+ Strong domain knowledge and expertise in one or more technical areas within the work requirements (Cloud design and implementation, Cybersecurity, Agile/DevSecOps software development methodology, Network engineering**Clearance Requirements:**+ Top Secret with SCI eligibility+ Able to obtain DHS EOD**Physical Requirements:**+ Must be able to be in a stationary position more than 50% of the time+ Must be able to communicate, converse, and exchange information with peers and senior personnel+ Constantly operates a computer and other office productivity machinery, such as a computer+ The person in this position frequently communicates with co-workers, management, and customers, which may involve delivering presentations.
