AZZ Galvanizing - South CarolinaGeneral DescriptionThis position is responsible for, but not limited to, the receipt and/or shipment of materials, supplies, and products.Education, Certifications, Licenses & RegistrationsHigh school diploma or equivalent is required.ExperienceSix months to one year related experience and/or training or equivalent combination of education and experience is preferred. Must have experience driving a la forklift, certified forklift driver preferred.Specialized Knowledge and SkillsKnowledge of raw materials, production process, quality control and costs, knowledge of hand tools and equipment is preferred.Knowledge of specific and general safety policies and procedures as relates to the plant and position is preferred.Essential DutiesResponsible for meeting customer delivery schedules, communicating turnaround time to customers, loading and unloading customer material.Receives goods, verifies items against the record of shipment, and inspects condition.Gathers, verifies, and packs items for shipment according to specifications and the transportation method used.Records received and shipped items according to established procedures.Physical DemandsMajority of the time is spent standing, walking, stooping, reaching, and bending. Must be capable of lifting up to 50 lbs. Must have good eye hand coordination.ScheduleFull TimeTravelNone
