Job Title:Benefits & Wellness Specialist

The Benefits & Wellness Specialist supports a comprehensive Benefits & Wellness program for all our companies. The Benefits & Wellness Specialist will utilize a solid working knowledge of HR practices encompassing administration, organization, and workflow to assist HR leadership with projects in all areas of HR. It is also critical for this role to have comprehensive knowledge of Federal, State, and local laws and regulations from other applicable agencies. The Benefits & Wellness Specialist reports to the Director of Benefits & Wellness.

  • Process and reconcile benefit carrier payments every month
  • Oversight and implementation of the Wellness Program and communication of events
  • Provide day-to-day support to employees about eligibility and other pertinent benefit-related matters
  • Assist with the communication of any benefit changes to the organization
  • Assist with ACA compliance and reporting
  • Assist with annual open enrollment period and health fair
  • Maintain knowledge of organizational and departmental policies and procedures
  • Provide effective and courteous service to both internal and external customers
  • Process actions in the HRIS system
  • Assist with the benefits orientation onboarding process
  • Assist with benefits plan communications
  • Run reports and analytics as needed
  • Ensure data integrity in the HRIS systems
  • Organize and participate in staff events and volunteer activities
  • Other duties as assigned
  • A Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
  • Minimum 3 years of work experience administering benefit plans
  • Minimum 3 years of work experience administering wellness initiatives/programs
  • Familiarity with human resources management
  • Display genuine enthusiasm for enhancing the overall employee experience and engagement
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Must be able to communicate effectively with diverse populations, internal and external
  • Detail-oriented, motivated, and a self-starter
  • Must be able to prioritize multiple projects successfully in a fast-paced environment
  • Team player with proven ability to effectively interact with all organizational levels in a multicultural environment and build strong, trusted relationships
  • Proficiency in MS Office/Suite products
  • Advanced Excel skills preferred
  • Solid analytical, problem solving, and interpersonal skills
  • Good influencing/negotiation skills
  • Able to work a flexible schedule, including nights, weekends, and holidays as needed
  • Preferred experience in entertainment, sports, or the hospitality industry
  • Workday HCM experience preferred
Knowledge, Skills and Experience

Education - Bachelor's Degree

Experience Required - 3-5 Year
