New product deployments are centered around our digital solutions and Visa Business Solutions, a payment service that Visa provides to clients to facilitate fund transfers/disbursements to Visa accounts around the world using push payment technology.The Director of VBS Strategy and Operations is a highly visible role for the LAC VBS organization, ensuring planning, execution and monitor/control processes are in place for effective delivery of critical, customer facing and internal projects involving the deployment of our products.The individual will be the lead support in creating our Solutions Strategies and Operations discipline for new product and solutions deployments collaborating with key stakeholders to ensure a successful launches and product performance. All initiatives are to be deployed with quality, on-time delivery and within budget. Once new products and initiatives are deployed, the lead will be responsible for monitoring the performance of the launched projects and will report these findings to the wider stakeholder group.The role will report directly to the VBS LAC Head and will also provide direct support to the VBS team in the region.Essential FunctionsCo-create product deployment strategies and go to market plans alongside the product owner for new and existing product deployments.Responsible for planning, executing, tracking, and budgetary controls for our product launches and commercial market plans. Support Product & Platforms team to formulate business cases for our product deployments and initiatives. Create relevant data analysis for monthly and quarterly VBS business reports for LAC and Global teams to help VBS LAC to closely monitor their performance and progress.Actively monitor and track VBS sales pipeline across LAC marketsEnsuring planning, execution and monitor/control processes are in place for effective delivery of critical, customer facing and internal projects involving the deployment of our products. (i.e., Pricing approval processes, new benefits or product/platforms enhancement, waivers, etc.)Uses strong business and technical knowledge to implement solutions, keeping projects on trackWorks closely with cross functional stakeholders and partners to ensure on-time delivery of critical projects and programs. Be the LAC conduit for global and local project deliveryManage multiple projects of varying size and complexity simultaneously with a high degree of competencyCoordination of new pricing requests for our products and solutionsManage all incoming program application from a risk and AML perspective through the existing Visa standard processes (i.e., Prepaid Information Form, among others)Manage all status and performance reports for upper management and other stakeholders concerning the products function and VBS in LACEnsure the program and projects are in compliance with Visa's Project Management Methodology and Key Controls and that accurate and timely information is reported regularly on program progress and financial status.Self-starter with exemplary organization and resolution management skillsStrong interpersonal and leadership skills to influence and build credibility across the products function and key stakeholders across the region. A team player, collaborative, diplomatic and flexible.Experience in working with technical and business teams in the project deliveryDemonstrable experience of initiating and implementing change within a global organizationThe successful candidate must have good understanding of the banking and payments landscape in the LAC regionClose affinity with scheme-based paymentsThis is a hybrid position. Hybrid employees can alternate time between both remote and office. Employees in hybrid roles are expected to work from the office two days a week, Tuesdays and Wednesdays with a general guidepost of being in the office 50% of the time based on business needs.QualificationsBasic Qualifications10 years of work experience with a bachelor's degree, 8 years of work experience with an Advanced degree (e.g., Masters/MBA/JD/MD)Preferred Qualifications8 to 10 years of work experience with a bachelor's degree or 6 to 10 years of experience with an Advanced Degree (e.g., Masters, MBA, JD, MD).5 -10 years of payments experience, including experience in product and in payments processingKnowledge of all electronic payment types including Commercial card payments.Team oriented, collaborative, diplomatic, and flexible, with excellent presentation skills, including strong oral and writing capabilities.Able to work independently and in a matrixed environment.Strong problem-solving skills and ability to develop, understand, synthesize, and communicate technical complexities to non-technical peers, both senior and junior, in a simple and clear manner.Strong team player, self-motivated and the ability to work with cross functional activities, data collection, and financial analytics.Excellent Microsoft skills across Project, Excel, and PowerPointStrong interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate effectively in English and Spanish (both written and verbal), Portuguese a plus, with colleagues across functional areas, with senior management and clientsLanguages,Fluent in English and Spanish, Portuguese a plus.Additional InformationWork Hours,Incumbent must make themselves available to support time zones from other regions on an as needed basisTravel Requirements,This position requires the incumbent to travel for work 30% of the time.Physical Requirements, This position will be performed in an office setting.
