DHL eCommerceEqual Opportunity Employer/Disability/VETLocation: Florida, Weston (FLL)SUMMARY:The Operations Data Analyst will use technical and business knowledge to develop reporting / modeling solutions for our Domestic Network. The position is focused on creating automated reporting / modeling solutions with an efficient underlying data schema. This role requires candidates to have a strong understanding of Business Intelligence tools, proficiency in SQL, MSSQL database structures, and a willingness to grow their skillset.ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES: Disseminate results of analysis to appropriate teams and leadership, and be available to support follow-up projects.Reviews processes for opportunities to automate and makes recommendations to leadership to implement improvements. Applies strong data and development acumen to perform a variety of roles in the creation and maintenance of data and analytical reports.Gathers data from different systems and sources and manipulates it using SQL tools to create summary reports and scorecards.Explains how tools were developed and train team members.Documents reporting processes and creates Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) and work flow charts.Supports the implementation of Ops projectsCompletes ad-hoc reporting and analysis requestsSupports in the creation of effective databases and tools using advanced programs such as SSMS, SSDT, MS AzureWriting T-SQL select statements to query databases with knowledge of MSSQL database structures stored procedures, views, tables and SQL Agent jobs. Preparing and improving data visualization reports such as: Power BI, Excel, Tableau, etc EDUCATION and EXPERIENCE:Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience in quantitative field: Computer Science, Engineering, Data Science, Information Technology, and / or Business Analytics1-2 years' experience in a similar role preferred. Prior experience with technical skills or software mentioned preferred.Experience with developing complex reports and databases, build advanced queries to conduct effective information services.Experience analyzing data structures and recommending enhancements to support reporting improvements.SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS:Advanced level of proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and SharePoint required.Proficiency in SQL, PowerBI, Tableau, MS Azure, Excel, and MSSQL DB, data mining techniques, R, Python, Visual Basic, HTML, ASP.NET, Visual Studio, Windows Batch file scripting, SSIS, SSDT, preferred.Effective communication skills for writing reports/proposals and supporting presentations.REQUIREMENTS/SKILLS:Excellent time management skills such as prioritizing/organizing and tracking details and meeting deadlines of multiple projects with varying completion dates.A high attention to detail and highest regard for data quality and accuracy.Proven relationship-builder who is confident and able to think on their feet.Able to make recommendations based on data and findings.Self-motivated and able to work under limited supervision.Ability to work effectively under pressure with poise and professionalism.Great degree of flexibility, analytic agility, and the ability to rapidly adapt to changing business requirements/needs, new technologies, and data sources.Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Power Point, Publisher / Visio)PHYSICAL DEMANDS:Physical demands are mostly consistent with a professional office setting.
