What you will be doing PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Develop weekly production schedule to ensure optimal inventory levels. Maintain reporting for schedules and production metrics. Collaborate with Purchasing in order to make necessary material adjustments. Manages Blue Point processing. Analyze short term constraints and collaborate to establish recommendations for resolution. Work cross functionally to execute agreed solutions. Facilitate utilization of resources with subcontracting partners. Communicate workflow with support teams. Create & maintain master data of manufactured products, related to planning and scheduling from new item launches until the product is discontinued. Responsible for future product processing and scheduling. Create work orders and schedules for the in-house label department. Provides back-up support for the production planning manager. Perform related duties as assigned. What your background should look like EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS: Requires broad training in fields such as business administration, accountancy, sales, marketing, computer sciences or similar vocations generally obtained through completion of a four year bachelor's degree program or equivalent combination of experience and education. Normally requires a minimum of four (4) years directly related and progressively responsible experience. MINIMUM SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE AND ABILITY REQUIREMENTS: Sound knowledge of material requirements planning (MRP) and related software. Knowledge of supply chain management preferred. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Proficiency in all Microsoft Office applications. Excellent organizational and time management skills.
