Rowe Price is seeking a Director, Learning and Development who will report to the VP, head of Talent. This innovative leader will be responsible for designing and delivering an end-to-end enterprise learning strategy that supports employee development and is aligned to the business strategy. T Rowe Price wants a multi-faceted leader who can provide leadership and execute based on the needs of the business. To be effective, the Director, Learning and Development will listen and partner with business leaders, HRBPs, DEI, the talent leadership team and other HR partners to effectively deliver a comprehensive learning strategy enabling the organization to meet its growth goals; in particular, a partnership with the Director, Leadership Development will be essential. To be successful, the leader will ensure that solutions consider the employee experience and build the capabilities needed for the future. To that end, this leader will organize, structure and market learning opportunities so that learners are able to easily identify and consume them when, where and how they are ready to learn. Part of success will be to measure learning impacts from adoption, efficiency, satisfaction, to impact to the business and ultimately the organization. The Director, Learning and Development will lead a team of learning professionals including program managers, instructional designers, facilitators, and learning specialists ensuring that they operate as a high-performance team. There will be a blend of core and customized learning experiences to ensure people have the skills to enhance performance as well as knowledge and additional capabilities they need to grow in their roles and careers. Role is eligible for a Hybrid schedule (mix of remote/onsite per the firm's Flexible Work Benefit/Policy) Responsibilities: * Develop and implement an enterprise learning strategy to develop capabilities that support business objectives and organizational growth today and for the future * Partner with the business, HR Business Partners and other talent partners to shape the learning strategy to meet the functional business specific learning needs * Ensures Diversity, Equity & Inclusion is incorporated into courses as a matter of how we operate, recognizing there will be some dedicated DEI courses * Develop key relationships across the organization that build trust and credibility in the delivered learning solutions. * Implements communication and marketing plans to ensure key audiences are well informed and can easily access programs so they can learn where, when and how they want. * Evaluate programs to assess learning effectiveness and implement changes based on feedback from the organization. * Clearly articulates measures of success and expected business impact, keeping key stakeholders informed and engaged with learning investment. * Keep current with industry-leading development trends through benchmarking, external partnerships, and industry affiliations, ensuring the team is delivering relevant content. * Stay current on behavioral learning trends and leads team to apply innovative solutions to bring complex topics to life * Develop and implement innovative and creative programs aligned with best practices that provide a positive learning experience for all participants * Identify and implement innovative approaches for training, such as gamification, micro-learning, and digital-based media. * Determine work effort, timelines and direct costs for project and initiatives * Bring a problem-solving mindset and be confident in challenging approaches and presenting ideas in constructive ways Qualifications * 10+ years of learning leadership experience working in global, complex organizations. * Motivated leader with strong leadership presence who will inspire and develop a high- performance team * Thought leader who provides expert guidance based on leading learning practices and innovative trends. * Demonstrated creation and successful execution of a strategy, including measuring impact * Experience designing and implementing innovative enterprise-level learning programs. * Demonstrated ability to use data and analytical, quantitative, and problem-solving skills to drive outcomes * Knowledge and application of diverse learning styles and hybrid learning outcomes * Strong written and verbal communication, including facilitation and presentation skills with audiences of varying levels * Strong business acumen with demonstrated ability to tie business outcomes to learning impact * Proven consulting experience with the ability to translate business needs and priorities into deliverable learning objectives. * Brings an external network of contacts and thought leaders * Demonstrated inclusive leadership both in leading diverse teams and incorporating DEI principles into learning design * Knowledge of adult learning principles, curriculum and content development, multimodal methods of training delivery, learning platforms and evaluation * Knowledge of Learning Management Systems and technology a plus FINRA licenses are not required and will not be supported for this Commitment to Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion: We strive for equity, equality, and opportunity for all associates.
