At Siegel+Gale, you'll have an endless supply of new experiences as you do work that connects with people all over the world-and you'll do it in an environment that helps you grow.As a Production Designer at Siegel+Gale, you will:Work closely with design, activation and program management teams to ensure that assignments are completed on time, on budget and in alignment with the design intentDevelop guidelines, specifications and tools to implement and manage brand identity systemsBe responsible for mechanical development, identity asset development for print and digital, mechanical production, photo retouching, creating presentation materials, and miscellaneous specialty production tasks as assignedHave strong coordination with the creative team to proactively solve production/creative related issuesWork with common software to craft detailed/structured production mechanical filesProperly document specifications and usage instructionsRecommend more efficient and timesaving methodologies that simultaneously improve the quality of our work product Perform quality control of client deliverablesConduct Media Testing (including print and digital, color viability, accessibility, etc.)Communicate clearly to educate team members about best practices and implications of design decisions on implementationYou're a great fit for this position if you have:5+ years of experience in the design industry with hands-on design, implementation and production experienceDesign background recommendedExtensive experience working directly with clients and vendorsStrong project management/organizational skillsUtmost attention to detailThe ability to juggle more than one project at a timeAbility to simplifyKnowledge of brand identity design and activites related to the implementation of brand identity systemsWorking knowledge of pre-press and printing processes and techniquesExperience in developing assets for digital touchpoints such as websites, social media, etcGood command of typographic basicsExtensive knowledge of all commonly used design and production application software (Adobe Illustrator, InDesign, Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Acrobat, Figma, Sketch)Strong working knowledge of business application software (Microsoft Word, Microsoft PowerPoint, Microsoft Excel, Keynote etc.)Experience in photo retouching an advantageFamiliarity with use of special materials, such as plastics, an advantageSiegel+Gale continually seeks to advance the principles of equal employment opportunity to all applicants and employees.
