You will help define and implement Windows Server technologies and methodologies, with a heavy emphasis on automation in a hybrid cloud environment, while maintaining operational excellence in multiple world-class Data Center environments.Responsibilities and TasksYour regular collaboration with Micron's Business Units will ensure our solutions meet or exceed business requirements. You will be expected to suggest, promote, and leverage published standards to minimize environment complexity and ensure regulatory as well as license compliance. You will have the opportunity to travel to other Micron sites as well as technology conferences and trainings.The fundamental purpose of this role is to improve Micron's profitability by facilitating efficient and frustration-free meetings, trainings, video conferences, and other audio visual experiences.Your primary goal is to ensure that Micron employees will be enabled to focus more on the business tasks at hand, rather than the technology that facilitates those tasks. Standardization of these systems will streamline the processes of support, training, deployment, and life-cycle planning will ensure Micron remains current with the industry and comparable corporate workplace standards.RESPONSIBILITIESThe environment is a 40,000+ size global user base. You will evaluate, solve, configure, and implement hardware and software components for cloud and on premise audio/visual, voice, video, chat, instant messaging and conference room technology solutions.This will include, but is not limited to, the following ecosystem technologies -Zoom, Microsoft Teams, Crestron, Poly, Planar, NEC, and Poly video conferencing infrastructure.You will work global teams to help maintain support processes, SLAs, and project deployments.Build positive relationships with audio visual vendors, integrators, and partners.Support the installation, configuration, commissioning, and training of audio visual integration projects.Provide L3 troubleshooting support to Micron TMs in audio visual support staff as needed and on a global levelConduct trainings and rehearsal for Webinar eventsKeep current on industry standards and practicesActively participate in developing operational models, processes, and proceduresInstall, configure, upgrade, support, and maintain on premise AV environments as well as overall conferencing room environmentsDraft system documentation, testing, training, and post-deployment/upgrade assessmentsAdditionally, this role Configures, installs, maintains and upgrades computer systems hardware / software. Restores files or systems by designing, writing and implementing backup procedures. Controls user access and passwords. Proposes and implements systems enhancements that will improve the reliability and performance of the system. Monitors usage and performance.
