We serve all individuals regardless of their insurance status or ability to pay.Job DescriptionThe Customer Service Associate (CSA) is responsible for creating a positive first impression, exhibiting excellent customer service, and promoting a pleasing experience for Salud patients. The CSA approaches his/her tasks in a team-based care fashion that supports patients and their families in self-management, self-efficacy, and behavior change. A positive attitude brings joy to the healing journey.A Day in the Life of a Customer Service Associate (CSA) with Salud:Your genuine spirit of caring welcomes patients as the first step prior to seeing the Doctor, NP, or PA. You may serve as a greeter, front desk receptionist, and/or cashier. You will welcome all patients to Salud and checks them in for all appointment types, checks patients out at the end of an appointment. Make reminder calls, answer questions, manage patient complaints and so much more to ensure a positive experience for all of our patients. QualificationsEducation:Graduation from an accredited high school or GED is requiredExperience:One year of front desk/customer service experience in a medical setting preferredKnowledge, Skills, and Abilities:Bilingual English/Spanish preferredMust work well with the other patient care team membersAbility to communicate clearly and appropriately with patientsProfessionalism and a positive attitudeProficient in Elementary MathAbility to learn and implement complex policies and proceduresReading comprehension and writing skillsKeyboarding and word processing skillsOne year clerical office experience preferredFamiliarity with medical/dental terminology preferredSensitivity to low income and ethnic minority communityWillingness to become proficient in the use of telephone, fax, copier, email, and electronic health record-keepingAbility to read, understand and follow oral and written instructionsAbility to work evening or weekend hoursAbility to work under stressAbility to recognize, evaluate, solve problems, and correct errors.Exhibits excellent customer serviceAbility to explain and summarize comprehensive concepts in a way that the general population can understandComputer systems applications (MS Office, PowerPoint, Chrome, etc.)Additional InformationSalud Family Health is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
