We're looking for a junior level Paralegal to join our team and help us achieve our vision to connect America. The Paralegal will assist with general corporate housekeeping matters: gathering and/or preparation of documents such as corporate resolutions, minutes, and consents, preparation of documents for signatures, and scanning, organizing and filing of documents. This role will also assist other members of the legal department as needed. What you will do... * Assist with corporate entity activities: completing corporate and/or governmental forms, tracking progress, updating parties involved and data sites * Assist with crucial projects: gathering and/or preparation of documents, obtaining necessary signatures, distribution of documents, and scanning, organizing and filing of documents throughout and at the end of the project * Assist with general corporate housekeeping matters: gathering and/or preparation of documents such as corporate resolutions, minutes, and consents, preparation of documents for signatures, and scanning, organizing and filing of documents * Assist with Board of Director activities and meetings: gathering and/or preparation of documents, distribute, and file documents needed for board and committee meetings * Assist with shareholder equity activity: prepare, distribute and organize equity related documents * Assist with proofing and editing documents * Assist with clerical duties and file organization tasks * Perform special projects and other related duties as assigned or requested * Assist other members of the legal department as needed Qualifications Who we are looking for... * 2 years corporate legal experience preferred * Self-starter, reliable, professional, able to multi-task * Proficient in Microsoft Office programs (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), Adobe Acrobat (Nuance), Google Docs, Gmail * Willingness to support all members of the legal department personnel where needed * Meticulous attention to detail and strong organizational skills * Must deliver high quality work product and have the ability to follow up and follow through * Excellent oral and written communication skills are necessary with the ability to interact professionally with executive personnel, attorneys, staff, and employees * Ability to commute to the office on a hybrid basis- preferred but not required.
