Transplant Coordinator-Outpatient Transplant Clinic (Full Time, Days)Req #:0000073767 Category:Nursing Status:Full-Time Shift:Day Facility:Cooperman Barnabas Medical Center Location: Outpatient Transplant Clinic, 94 Old Short Hills Road, Livingston, NJ 07039 JOB SUMMARY: Coordinates all aspects of the evaluation/listing process for deceased donor and living donor transplantation for Chronic Kidney Disease patients. Coordinates organ procurement with the New Jersey Sharing Network through shared on-call responsibility. Acts as liaison between Saint Barnabas and all referring dialysis centers and referring MDs. Ensures continuity of care through effective communication and collaboration with the multi-disciplinary team in all areas of the transplant department. Uses an understanding of the principles of growth and development to assess each patient s age specific needs and provide age specific treatment. 100% of job responsibilities are pre-transplant no time study is required. EDUCATION: + Bachelor s Degree preferred REQUIREMENTS: + Registered Nurse in the state of New Jersey. + Experience in renal dialysis and /or transplantation preferred + Basic Life Support (BLS) + Successful completion of all Orientation Programs RWJBarnabas Health is an Equal Opportunity Employer
