Summary:

The Regional Sales Manager will sell our full product line (packaging equipment, labeling equipment, and food processing equipment) to existing and new customers within an assigned geographic territory.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Achieve budgeted sales, margins, and net profit goals by making face-to-face calls within an assigned territory to existing UltraSource customers.
  • Seek out and develop new customers; build organic growth of customer base by creating relationships through a variety of methods, including social media, various market groups and state associations.
  • Identify emerging markets and market shifts for existing product lines within the food industry or in other industrial markets.
  • High level of proficiency using social media tools to boost visibility of company product lines and offerings.
  • Must have a solid product knowledge and be resourceful in finding ways to connect with customers about our products.
  • Achieve budgeted sales, margins, and net profit goals by making face-to-face calls within an assigned territory to existing UltraSource customers.
  • Provide market feedback on current marketing efforts, competitor activity and price levels, new product development, and emerging market trends.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Three years' experience selling capital equipment or equipment requiring longer sales cycles required.
  • Selling experience in the food industry or packaging or processing equipment preferred.
  • Bachelor's degree from four-year college or university preferred.
  • CRM software experience required; Syteline experience preferred.
  • Knowledge of packaging & processing equipment, parts and industrial supplies a plus.

  • Excellent customer service relations and interpersonal skills
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to identify and resolve problems
  • Ability to work well in group problem solving situations.

Extensive travel is required especially by car to visit customer work sites.

Work Environment:

This position will be remotely based, with 50% overnight travel. Some limited international travel may be likely.

In addition to a typical office environment, the employee must also frequent the company's warehouse and customer locations with moderate exposure to heat, cold, humidity, dust, noise, and working equipment.

The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
