Job Description
We are seeking a Marketplace Manager to take our Amazon business to the next level and maximize profit potential, while taking ownership of launching new online marketplaces. You're an expert at working with and love building narratives around business metrics that lead to healthy growth. This position plays a critical role in the success of Amazon and it's potential contribution to the larger business. The ideal candidate must have extensive Amazon FBA Seller Central Selling knowledge and experience, both domestically and internationally. This role will be responsible for achieving sales goals and owning all aspects of the Amazon business, including choosing ad agency and overseeing that relationship, working cross functionally with operations, creative, and performance marketing as well as creating and executing on all aspects of implementation and optimization strategies. You will work closely with the Director of Growth Marketing and Chief Marketing Officer handling all things Amazon. Campaign knowledge includes, but is not limited to: Product Launching, Product Promoting, FBA inventory managing, Keyword Optimization and Ranking, Listing, and PPC optimization. This position requires a blend of creativity, analytical skill, perseverance, and results-oriented/problem solving.Responsibilities Manage all sales-related daily tasks on Amazon Seller Central Plan and execute product launching strategy for all new products/product expansions Optimize new and existing Amazon Listings: pictures, copywriting, keyword, title, bullet points, A+ EBC, other backend details, product descriptions, Ads/storefront, etc. Optimize PPC campaigns to achieve sales and margin goal Manage FBA inventory and provide accurate sales forecasting/planning with cross departments including analytics, supply chain, etc. Coordinate with Digital Marketing teammates for interdepartmental learnings and developing new ad concepts Identify, Analyze new product opportunities, scaling potential Prepare necessary sales reports to management for sales and marketing data updates Monitor competitors listing performance Continuously monitor, report, and serve all infringing 3rd party resellers Requirements Amazon Seller Central Expert Level: 3 years (Required) 5 years preferred. The proven previous sales track record on Amazon: Minimum $100,000 average monthly revenue Amazon PPC: 3 Years (Required) with min $30,000 average monthly spending Experience scaling businesses greater than $10M+ revenues Tech-savvy with proficiency in Excel Organized and self-motivated with teamwork spirit Good communication skills and results-driven A self-starter with a strong sense of ownership, and an appetite for learning Ability to uncover insights from data and use quantitative methods to answer questions and to find opportunities for optimization An eye for good design and can create ad concepts quickly leveraging basic design thinking (note: graphics design experience is not required but is considered a plus) A passion for marketing, social advertising, and a positive attitude is key to this role Track & remain up-to-date with trends, new features, and functionalities in search engine and social advertising A team-oriented mindset and the ability to work with a wide range of individuals Benefits Competitive salary and compensation package, with performance incentives A 100% remote working environment (we've been remote-first since launch!)
