Job Description

Are you looking for an opportunity to work closely with clients to understand their needs, but not necessarily looking for sales role? ISE and this role may be the right fit for you!



The Senior Solutions Consultant has some aspects of a technical sales role, but success in the role is determined by providing consultative advice to clients with a small focus on growing revenue.



What you’ll do at ISE:

  • Provide technical ownership of sales opportunities, including credible explanations of services or capabilities
  • Understand and educate clients on the concept of security partnerships for application security and the benefits of in-depth security testing
  • Independently host calls to gather client qualifications, needs, and expectations
  • Ensure that clients’ wants, needs. and budgets align with ISE's abilities
  • Cultivate trust with prospective customers and convey technical credibility for ISE's teams
  • Have scoping conversations with clients to determine level of effort
  • Identify opportunities for upselling other beneficial services
  • Collaborate with the team to figure out an ideal solution for the client
  • Write up Statement Of Work displaying price point, based on level of effort
  • Lead the client through a walk-through of the contract and explain it
  • Follow up with the client after the meeting to solidify the sales
  • Provide reporting and feedback on customer accounts and field activities to Sales, Product Management, and Security Analysts
  • Research prospective customers or market demographics to expand ISE's reach in the industry
  • Develop technical materials for customers and other Sales Engineers



What you bring to the table:

  • B.S. degree preferred in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Development, or related field
  • 4+ years in consulting, sales, or related field in cybersecurity or technology
  • Problem-solving skills to match ISEs's capabilities to customers' needs
  • Strong technical writing and oral communication skills
  • Attention to detail and organized
  • Team player
  • Good note-taking skills



Nice to have (but we can teach you!):

  • Thorough understanding of web, desktop, and mobile application security assessments and related services
