We are currently recruiting to fill the following position: Job Description POSITION SUMMARY: Under close supervision the Production Worker performs a variety of production tasks and duties. Employees in this job class aid in the manufacturing of goods in a light production environment to complete products for orders to meet the needs of our customers. TYPICAL DUTIES: 1. *Quickly and efficiently assemble components, which can include but not limited to capping bottles, repacking bottles and/or building kits of multiple components to ensure production levels are maintained. 2. *May work individually or as part of an assembly line to complete the process, in which case must communicate with other team members on the production line to ensure speed and accuracy to meet established metrics. 3. *Accurately record daily production with limited use of company ERP system. 4. *Inform supervisors of any part or equipment defects to ensure prompt response to the problem. 5. *Maintain an efficient and orderly production room while following all company and facility safety policies, procedures, and guidelines and immediately reporting potentially hazardous situations. 6. Performs other duties and special projects as assigned. * Denotes Essential Job Function MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: * Prior production/packing related work experience preferred; * Basic mathematical ability; * Able to follow verbal and written instructions; * Ability to communicate effectively and respond to questions and request; * Human relations skills to build effective working relationships; * Demonstrated customer service, problem solving and common-sense skill. EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS: High School Diploma or GED CERTIFICATES REQUIRED: The following licenses or certificates may be required depending on local, state and/or contract requirements: Not Applicable PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: Employees must have the ability to perform the following physical demands for extended periods of time with or without assistance: * Maneuvering in and around equipment * Bending and stooping * Pushing carts up to 50 pounds with or without assistance * Using a pallet jack * Lifting boxes or equipment up to 25 pounds WORK ENVIRONMENT: Work is performed in a warehouse environment with forklifts and production equipment. Employees may be exposed to noise from equipment and may be exposed to elevated temperatures, high heat, occasional fumes, toxic chemicals, and airborne particles.
