Job Description
We're hiring immediately! Dedicated drivers enjoy the many privileges that come with having consistent customers. Unlike some driver positions, this one gives you a better idea of the number of miles and hours each week holds, which means you'll have a better idea of what to expect in every paycheck. And because you know your customers and their typical freight load, you'll never be surprised or slowed down by unusual shipments.
As a full-time, Dedicated Truck Driver, you can expect:
Competitive pay:
Average $1,746 per week/$90,792 per year
Starting pay of .57 cpm
Average 2,800 miles per week
$25 stop pay
Average 6-9 stops per week
Average 30 minutes - 1 hour per stop
Detention, breakdown and layover pay available
Company sponsored per diem program
Will be required to reset while on the road, 34 hours
Dispatch is based on freight availability and location
Minimum of 2 weeks out, but could average 3 weeks
If out for two weeks, two days home
If out for three weeks, three days home
Typically, home on Friday's and out on Monday's
Flexible home time, we will work with you on how long and which days you need to be home
Drivers can expect to log 70 hours in 8 days
Dispatches and start /delivery times are received the prior day and assigned to drivers
Deliver trailers loaded with portable storage units to storage centers or hub facilities
Destination site personnel will unload and reload portable storage
Driver is responsible to strap, unstrap and secure portable storage units and containers
Pick up and deliver inmultiple locations in all 48 states, may not deliver in all states but will travel through,no NYC deliveries
This is an assigned sleeper position
$18 per hour while operating forklift to seldom load and unload (training provided)

Short on experience? We have opportunities for drivers with as little as one month of verifiable tractor-trailer experience in the past year, or 6 months of verifiable experience in the past 5 years to go through our 1 - 3 week program

Must live within a 150-mile radius
Minimum of 6 months' verifiable tractor-trailer experience in the past 3 years, no additional training required
Minimum of 1-4 months' verifiable tractor-trailer experience within the past year, 3 weeks of paid training
Minimum of 6 months' verifiable tractor-trailer experience within the past 5 years, 1 week of paid training
Must have a Class A CDL
Must be 21 years of age
No convictions for reckless driving within the past 5 years
No convictions for DUI or DWI within the past 5 years
No suspensions or revocations for a moving violation within the past 5 years
No serious violations within previous 12 months (15 mph or greater, following too closely, improper passing, traffic offense committed in a CMV in connection with a fatality)
No more than 3 moving violations within the past 3 years
No preventable DOT recordable accidents within the past 3 years
Essential functions:
Lift and move side kits -lift requirements: 46 lbs
Secure load with chains and hardware - lift requirements: 80 lbs
Climb onto and off the flatbed trailer/load
Count freight
Complete fuel tickets
Complete delivery receipt
Hook/Unhook trailer - force requirement: 90 lbs
Perform pre-trip inspections
Drive
Extensive travel - ability to sit upright for extended periods of time.
Regular predictable attendance
