**Type of Requisition:** Regular **Clearance Level Must Be Able to Obtain:** None **Public Trust/Other Required:** BI Full 6C (T4) **Job Family:** Technical Documentation The Technical Editor will write, edit, and review knowledge articles (questions and answers), reports, conference and meeting materials, website content, and documentation relating other special events: + Advanced writing and editing skills to communicate to leadership, employees, and the general public. + Formatting aligned to industry standards for self-service communication to customers on a web-based platform. + Articulate goals and objectives and effectively translate them into relevant strategies and messages, and maintain continuity of key documents supporting priorities, and strategic decisions. + Draft and edit internal and enterprise-wide news and information to inform the client's workforce, including regular newsletters, announcements, leadership messages, and articles. + Develop and manage content for the client's web site, including blog posts, articles, and leadership messages and create collateral content, as needed. + Coordinate, publicize, and host periodic events, including brown bags or town hall meetings to highlight programs and initiatives of importance to the client and its workforce. + Accuracy of grammar, style, strategic intent, and visualization. **You Have:** + Experience with creating executive communication strategies and materials, including speechwriting, presentation development, talking points, and managing strategic engagements on behalf of senior executive leaders. + Experience as a primary author of mission and vision statements, policy or requirements statements or documents, or operating concepts. + BA or BS degree, with 5+ years of experience. MS preferred. + Experience in SharePoint, MS Teams, MS Publisher, MS Project, Adobe InDesign. + Possession of advanced oral and written communication skills. + Experience in prior technical editing roles. + Ability to produce non-proprietary/confidential writing sample and work products for review during interview process. **Clearance:** Current U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) BI Clearance or Top Secret/Secret Clearance. The likely salary range for this position is $82,400 - $123,600, this is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary; rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
