Job Description
USD140,000-USD180,000 + Manage day-to-day activities to meet project milestones and ultimately meet or beat project completion date. + Directs all field personnel to achieve completion of the project on schedule, within budget, with quality workmanship that conforms to plans and specifications. + Has knowledge and experience with other trades scope of work. + Maintain daily and weekly logs of construction progress and being responsible for 2 to 3 week look aheads + Maintain jobsite safety, health and cleanliness + Daily inspection of construction site to monitor compliance with building and safety codes, and other applicable regulations. + Identify the elements of project design and construction likely to produce constructability issues and plan coordination problems prior to beginning construction of the project. + Interpret and explain plans and contract terms to administrative staff, subcontractors, and clients + Ensure project documentation and reports are complete + Attend all necessary jobsite meetings _MPI does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, national origin, age, disability, veteran status, marital status, or based on an individual's status in any group or class protected by applicable federal, state or local law. MPI encourages applications from minorities, women, the disabled, protected veterans and all other qualified applicants._ + At least 10 years or large ground up construction project experience + Advance knowledge of construction management processes, means and methods + Experienced with healthcare projects Preferred + Successful completion of projects in Miami Dade County + Thorough knowledge of legal issues and safety standards is essential. + Capacity to motivate, lead and mentor superintendents + Competent in conflict and crisis management + Knowledge and experience with software like Procore or CMiC + 4 year technical degree preferred + Bilingual in Spanish Our client is a well established General Contractor with a strong track record of delivering successful projects in South Florida.
