Job Description

Position Purpose


This assignment will be responsible for, but not limited to, responsible for the assessment and coordination of personnel, equipment and inventory to meet daily productivity goals and timelines. Ensures all procedures and work instructions for their area(s) are followed. Ensures their area meets the internal customer requirements.

Responsibilities

Adherence to safety principles at all times

Know and follow standard work procedures and safety rules for all tasks assigned

Execute the values, philosophy, mission, strategy, policies, and standards of the organization to achieve the vision of Schnellecke Logistics.

Apply central procedures to the area of responsibility, to ensure compliance with them.

Improving business processes, to make robust and efficient processes

Coordinate shop floor activities to comply with safety, quality and customer requirements by adhering to the work instructions applicable to the area

Preform replacement functions for reporting associates in the event of absence

Problem solving of day-to-day departmental issues and challenges and timely escalation of problems that could potentially impact operational performance

Responsible for maintaining basic KPIs to measure departmental performance

Serve as an extension from management for implementation of new standards for operations, quality and safety

To update data into daily scorecard for review during management operational meetings and update data for required KPIs to monitor operational performance

Communication to corporate and client management.

Communicate with MBUSI to resolve issues pertaining to scrap material and cost

Assist with the completion of the incident investigation packet for injuries and incidents

This job operates in a warehouse environment.

Noise level may be high

The employee is frequently required to stand, walk, and sit for long periods of time. Bending and/or reaching may be required.

Personal Protective Equipment must be worn at all times while on Shop Floor to prevent injury to self or others.
