Currently, we are seeking a Manager, Financial Reporting with at least 4 years of relevant experience, based in Irvine, California. Based in Irvine, California, this role provides leadership and technical accounting expertise in the internal and external financial reporting function of the corporation. The ideal candidate would be able to work on-site 3 days a week in our Irvine HQ.

  • Prepare quarterly SEC filings – 10-Q’s and 10-K’s, including preparation and coordination of supporting schedules
  • Point of contact for external auditors with respect to periodic SEC filings and SOC compliance
  • Responsible for regular reporting of non-GAAP financial measures and global SaaS metrics
  • Ensures all financial reports and disclosures comply with applicable government regulations, professional standards and organization policies
  • Drives and participates in timely and accurate monthly consolidation of financial accounts for inclusion in internal and external financial statements
  • Conducts research regarding the impact to financial statements of potential changes to accounting rules proposed by accounting standards setters, and advises senior management regarding same
  • Develops, implements, and communicates new policies and processes to comply with newly issued accounting standards
  • Provides accounting guidance related to proposed transactions to ensure conformity with local country Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP), International financial Reporting Standards (IFRS), and company policies and procedures
  • Ensures that relevant accounting standards are appropriately and consistently applied

Must Haves

  • 4+ years of SEC reporting experience
  • National public accounting firm experience
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
  • CPA (Certified Public Accountant)
  • Solid understanding of US GAAP, SEC regulations SX and SK, SOX, consolidation, and financial / management reporting
  • Solid technical accounting research skills

Strong Pluses

  • Experience using Active Disclosure or Workiva
  • Working knowledge of XBRL tagging
  • Multilingual in English, Spanish, and/or Italian
