Hamilton Company is looking for a Cycle Counter to work in our Inventory Control Department. They will be responsible for the review of daily Cycle Count Reports and counting individual parts. The Cycle Counter will also perform bay audits, reconcile discrepancies, and investigate inventory shortages.

Other responsibilities may include:

  • Maintain a high level of inventory accuracy and integrity
  • Responsible for completing physical inventories, cycle counts, random or receipt audits and reconciliations
  • Maintain inventory as required by production schedules and/or customer orders
  • Resolve inventory problems in a timely manner
  • Investigate shortages of other items found during work order kitting or shipping functions
  • Research inventory discrepancies and reconcile
  • May perform other duties as assigned by supervisor

  • Must be computer literate
  • Familiarity with Windows based operating systems and warehouse management systems
  • Understand the inventory control process
  • Possess good oral and written communication skills
  • Must be detail orientated
  • Position requires exerting up to 40 pounds of force occasionally and/or negligible amount of force frequently or constantly to lift, carry, push, pull, or otherwise move objects

  • Must have High School diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum of 3 - 4 years warehouse or inventory experience
  • Technical Certificate and/or LEAP or CTE Program Completion Preferred
