SUMMARY: Our team is looking for an energetic and dynamic Vacuum Exhaust Assembly Technical Lead who will primarily be responsible for aiding Axioms Environmental Control and Life Support System (ECLSS) Team with designing spacecraft Vacuum Exhaust Assemblies. We are looking for an individual who is motivated, passionate about space, and excels at problem solving. The role requires strong organizational, time management, and communication skills.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Sizing individual components for the vacuum exhaust assembly
  • Ability to stand up test configuration and actively adapt to dynamic situations
  • Bill of materials preparation and component management
  • Develop component specifications and requirements
  • Schematic and diagram generation
  • Extreme ownership of vacuum exhaust assemblies
  • Perform data analysis to determine performance of analytical vacuum systems
  • Determine qualification/validation plans and procedures to bring components to flight readiness
  • Cross-communication with various subject matter experts
  • BS Degree in Aerospace Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related field required
  • 5+ years experience in vacuum systems, or similar role preferred
  • Hands on experience building, testing and/or assembling hardware
  • Direct experience with organization and management
  • Vacuum and or conductance experience preferred

Education & Experience

  • BS Degree in Aerospace Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related field required
  • 5+ years experience in vacuum systems, or similar role preferred
  • Hands on experience building, testing and/or assembling hardware
  • Direct experience with organization and management
  • Vacuum and or conductance experience preferred
