First Hawaiian Bank is currently seeking a highly engaging, customer-focused, goals-driven, Customer Service Representative to join our Kahului Branch in Maui, Hawaii. In this role, you will provide quality customer service to bank customers both inside and outside the branch.The Customer Service Representative also sells the Bank's products and services which includes informing the customer of benefits, and features, acts as an initial contact for referral of the customer to personal bankers and specialized areas of the bank such as consumer and commercial loans, credit cards etc. and projects a professional image and appearance as a representative of the Bank.The ideal candidate will have:Associates degree in business and/or equivalent work skills required. Upon acceptance into the position, mandatory completion of FHB CSR School.Must be able to sit, see, hear, speak, walk and use finger dexterity to perform the essential duties of the job.Minimum of two years as a commercial savings teller in a financial institution (i.e., within FHB, minimum two years teller/clerk teller experience) or two years in a retail sales environment selling products and services.Oral and interpersonal communication skills required to perform sales presentations to individuals and groups.Must be able to type 35wpm.Ability to use judgement and discretion regarding customer transactions and confidential information required.PC skills in word processing required.Work ScheduleMonday - Thursday 8:00AM - 4:30PM; Friday 8:00AM - 6:30PM; Saturday on a rotation basis 8:30AM - 1:30PM (Hours may vary)
