Ways you will make a difference * Manage the inventory team as their direct supervisor, and provide oversight on * Perform, audit and analyze cycle counts of all raw material items on a daily basis. * Perform, audit and analyze cycle counts of all packaging material items, finished, and semi-finished goods locations in the warehouse on a daily basis. * Assists in developing processes, procedures and support training to ensure inventory and ERP programs are consistent. * Provides feedback to management on accuracy levels, procedure problems, and recommends corrective actions. * Provide oversight on all inventory adjustments resulting from cycle counting activities. * Maintain and support daily tracking of poundage throughout the process. * Maintain files for all items that are cycle counted and track adjustment trends over time. * Research Bills of Material for possible errors that are causing repeated adjustments. * Ensure that items are kept in their proper locations and labeled properly. * Use the plant schedule to plan cycle counts for items not being used in the process. * Research root cause of COGI errors and implement corrective actions to minimize discrepancies. * Provide oversight to ensure the close and TECO of orders in a timely manner as part of the order/variance reconciliation process. * Monitor, analyze and plan outbound transportation via reporting and throughput projections. * Ensures adherence to all company policies and procedures.
