Riley's experienced financial advisors leverage the diverse resources and expertise of its affiliated companies to help clients create a sound financial strategy based on their financial goals.We are seeking a full-time Assistant Director, Annuities & Insurance to drive revenue growth, working with the Sr. VP. The Assistant Director will proactively contact BRWM financial advisors and will reactively answer phone calls and email messages from advisors, consulting with the advisors to match client profiles with product solutions.Duties of this position include, but are not limited to the following:Initiate outbound calls to BRWM advisors, specific number daily.Respond to inbound phone calls and email messages from advisors, consulting with advisors and matching client profiles with product solutions.Leverage resources of insurance companies (wholesalers - external and internal, relationship managers, advance marketing personnel) by developing working relationships with our current lineup of insurance companies.Leverage Brokerage General Agencies (regarding index and fixed annuities and life, LTC, and DI insurance) by developing relationships with our existing BGAs.Utilize insurance company websites in order to stay current on product offerings.Build and maintain reference material for the constantly changing vast array of product offerings.Provide guidance to advisors on prerequisites for initiating product orders.Learn the annuity order system and process and educate and assist advisors and client associates in the order process.Consult with advisors on suitability of recommendations and provide guidance in the fair and balanced narrative required in the annuity order.Develop working relationships internally with our Annuities/Insurance Operations Team, general Operations, Supervision, and Compliance for problem solving and daily needs.Education, Experience and Skills Required:Bachelor's Degree in Business or related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience.Experience in annuities, including IRAs, and insurance (Life, LTC, DI), e.g., with a broker/dealer, agency, or personal production.FINRA Series 6 and 63 required. Series 7 desired and required within 9-12 months of hire date.State insurance license for life, annuities, variable contractsCertifications (e.g., ChFC, CLU, CFP) are desired and are a plus.Proficiency with MS Office Suite, including Excel, Word, and OutlookReferences (3) are required (recommendation letters are preferred), and they will be contacted.B.
