About Mercedes-Benz StadiumThe new home of the Atlanta Falcons and Atlanta United, Mercedes-Benz Stadium opened in 2017. The stadium also hosts numerous other sports and entertainment events. The multi-purpose venue features flexible capacity that can expand to up to 83,000 seats; a retractable roof structure inspired by the oculus in the ancient Rome Pantheon; views of the Atlanta skyline; a 360-degree HD video halo board that, at nearly six stories tall and 1,100 linear feet in diameter, will be the largest in the NFL and the world; and a technology lounge offering a unique game day experience full of media content and full game immersion. Mercedes-Benz Stadium is a member of AMB Sports & Entertainment, which also includes the Atlanta Falcons and Atlanta United FC.Position SummaryMercedes-Benz Entertainment & Live Events department is looking for a qualified candidate to serve as the Entertainment & Live Events - Assistant for AMB Sports & Entertainment Group. This individual will be highly enthusiastic, energetic, proactive, effective under pressure, and flexible. They will have the opportunity assist and own different aspects of planning and executing Super Fan based live events at Mercedes-Benz Stadium and in and around the Atlanta market. Hourly compensation is provided.Roles and ResponsibilitiesFacilitate new Falcons Super Fan member onboarding.Manage Falcons Super Fan inbox.Identify and implement large group management process improvements.Compose, prepare and/or review communications, presentation materials, and reports, utilizing MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.Assist manager with event logistics internally and externally.Contribute to planning and execution and of in-game activations in the Falcons Super Fan section.Assist with collecting, assigning, and managing vendor invoices for Super Fan events. Innovate continuously.Analyze research findings to identify concepts that align with brand objectives, and drive fan engagement results.Provide support during Atlanta Falcons Super Fan Trainings, Falcons Training Camp, Falcons Open Practice, and other in market initiatives.Manage routine administrative processes which may include document preparation, meeting and recaps, meeting coordination between departments and/or outside parties, etc.Track Falcons Super Fan engagement, identify trends, and suggest improvement paths.Assist with daily needs of Entertainment and Live Events Department.Coordinate distribution of necessary credentials associated with Super Fans, sponsors, vendors, talent, and personnel (includes distribution of tickets and parking passes).Create staffing information for events including timelines, maps, staff information sheets, and other items pertaining to each event.Project a professional image in all interactions including fans, Super Fans, C-Level executives, dignitaries, talent, and fellow Blank Family of Business associates.Other duties, functions, special projects, and responsibilities as assigned by supervisor.Qualifications and Education RequirementsPart Time Position: Up to 30 Hours a WeekBachelor's Degree required.Prior internships, volunteer work or any work experience in Events, Fan Engagement, Large Group Management, and Operations required.Required Job QualificationsMust be available to work some Atlanta United and ALL Atlanta Falcons home games and offsite related events.Duties may fall on evenings, weekends, and holidays.Must have the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.Must thrive in changing environments.Must be an experienced collaborator in a team environment.Strong oral and written communication skills.Possess the ability to multi-task and manage concurrent activities in a fast-paced environment.Strong organizational and interpersonal skills.Proven analytical and problem-solving ability.Well organized and able to prioritize, coordinate, and manage simultaneous tasks/projects.Must have reliable transportation to and from Atlanta Falcons Training Camp in Flowery Branch, GA, Atlanta United Training Grounds in Marietta, GA and Mercedes-Benz Stadium in Atlanta, GA.Must be able to lift 35 pounds and be on your feet for 8+ hours at a time, indoors and outdoors.Must be able to demonstrate proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Word, and Microsoft PowerPoint.
