Job Description
Kforce has a client that is seeking a SolarWinds Orion Administrator in Fort Lauderdale, FL.Key Tasks: * SolarWinds Orion Administrator will setup and maintain best-of-breed monitoring and alert notification platforms and dashboards * Collaborate with various internal and external application and support teams to ensure proper monitoring and alerting of Infrastructure and/or Applications is in place * Monitor Azure IaaS and PaaS environments in addition to application performance in Kubernetes clusters and websites * As a SolarWinds Orion Administrator, you will be required to follow processes and cooperate in maintaining the high availability, disaster recovery, security, and integrity of multiple infrastructure platforms in support of Company Support Services systems * Responsibilities will also include collaborating with technical teams in the implementation of new systems infrastructure, upgrades, hardware refreshes, maintaining existing and legacy systems, resolving problems, developing, and enforcing technical procedures * Stages, maintains multiple environments or version of applications, and assists with the integration of new technology into the existing infrastructure required to support the enterprise * Monitor SaaS, IaaS, and PaaS environments * Monitor LAN, WAP, WAN and DIA network performance * Monitor DAS infrastructure * SolarWinds Orion Administrators build NOC monitoring dashboards * Build application and infrastructure relationships within the CMDB * Integrate system monitor alerts with ITSM tools * Work closely with PMO to establish monitoring standards for new applications * Collect logs and use data analytics to identify problems earlier and with more accuracy * Monitor system logs and performance on all servers; Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair hardware and software issues as they arise * Support LANs, WANs, network segments, Internet, and intranet systems in a multi-office setup across multiple locations * A Bachelor's degree in a Computer-related discipline is preferred * Equivalent technical training and certification may be considered * Four (4) years of experience managing a computer hardware support and maintenance team, as well as, performing as a member of that team is also preferred * Prefer candidate possess Microsoft Azure Administrator Associate certification or VMware Certified Professional - Desktop and Mobility certification * Expert level of knowledge of Enterprise Application and Network Monitoring, monitoring platforms and systems software development Kforce is an Equal Opportunity/Affirmative Action Employer.
