Description Position at Xaxis The Programmatic Specialist, is the core of a fast paced, solutions-oriented team. As a Specialist, you will work closely with Programmatic Coordinators, Analysts, and Managers to ensure the success of programmatic advertising campaigns. The responsibilities of this role include campaign setup, QA and optimization of programmatic media campaigns, troubleshooting campaign issues related to pacing, performance and margin, and developing strategic recommendations that support the objectives of our clients and create incremental revenue opportunities for Xaxis. The Specialist has a mastery of multiple programmatic platforms, a deep understanding of the digital media industry, and demonstrates programmatic expertise through their ability to identify actionable insights from data and provide them to clients as tactical recommendations.ResponsibilitiesSetup and launch of campaigns in the media buying platforms (DSPs)Communicate thoroughly, respond rapidly and escalate urgent matters to senior supportExecute all aspects of campaign maintenance, including proactive performance checks and optimizations, pacing updates, optimizations, and profitabilityMonitor campaign health, issuing projection analyses and reallocation recommendations when necessaryAssist with campaign analytics, derive insights from data, and contribute strategic recommendations to improve campaign performance and pacingUse programmatic knowledge and DSP capabilities to provide smart, operationally-sound programmatic recommendationsCollaborate with Programmatic Coordinators, Analysts and Operations teams to ensure fiscal accountability, to monitor and proactively optimize towards performance goals, provide audience insights, and ensure smooth campaign executionWork closely with the account management team to turn insights into recommendations that align with or enhance client strategyContinually contribute to the knowledge sharing the culture of the trading teamKeep abreast of industry trends through trade journals, workshops, and current eventsProvide data-backed actionable insights for campaign optimization notesOccasionally lead trading training and provide mentorship for new hiresEssential QualificationsBachelor's Degree with minimum of 2 years of relevant industry experienceIn-depth knowledge of DSPs, SSPs, ad servers, programmatic execution, verification partners, and data partnershipsProficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams, etc.)Familiarity with advanced optimization strategies to deliver against standard programmatic KPIs for client satisfaction and budget growthExcellent communication skills, including the ability to de-mystify programmatic jargon for clients and agency counterpartsAnalytical aptitude and strong critical thinking skillsAbility to maintain a high level of productivity while managing multiple timelines, competing priorities, and agency relationships.Quick learner who loves to pick up new tools for reporting and analysisProactive; can troubleshoot technical issues through to resolutionIntelligent, resourceful, entrepreneurial type with strong technical acumenAn innate curiosity for advertising technologySQL, HTML experience a plusXaxis is a global digital media platform that programmatically connects advertisers and publishers to audiences across all addressable channels.
