Job DescriptionResponsible for all cleanliness and sanitation in the kitchen and adjacent areasCreative menu planning to adjust to guest needsOversees food preparationChecks quality of food deliveriesEnsures that kitchen/restaurant areas are cleanOrders all food and cleaning suppliesMaintains proper supply levelsAble to maintain costs within budget levelsKeep the kitchen properly staffed and manage schedulesHires, coaches and disciplines direct reportsInteracts positively and professionally with guests to resolve issuesActs as Manager on Duty as requiredOther duties as assignedEDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:Minimum of High School education, post-high school education preferredMinimum of 3 years in kitchen management or as a ChefKNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:Basic math skillsAbility to communicate effectively verbally and in writingStrong leadership skillsAbility to exceed expectations of guests and team membersExcellent time management skillsJOB COMPETENCIES:Drive for ResultsBusiness AcumenHiring and StaffingDeveloping Direct Reports and OthersDecision QualityCustomer FocusInformingIntegrity/Trust
