To learn more about Berry, visit berryglobal.com Responsibilities: The Maintenance Technician is responsible for troubleshooting machinery problems and continuously monitoring elextrical and mechanical devices as part of a predictive and preventative maintenance plan. This position is expected to have a significant positive impact on Run-Rime Efficiency (RTE) and total plant Uptime.Troubleshooting machinery problems and continuously monitoring electrical and mechanical devices as part of a predictive and preventive maintenance plan. Troubleshoots and repairs problems with production equipment.Locate electrical trouble by using multi-meter, amp meter and megger.Repair and/or replace defective electrical equipment. Qualifications: 2-year degree or equivalent from technical college preferred3 years prior experience in maintenance preferredWorking knowledge of extrusion equipment, winders, instrumentation & controls, air rings, gearboxes, bearings, motors, pneumatics, hydraulics, rigging, etc.Functional knowledge of electrical repair/maintenance on manufacturing equipment.Knowledge of single and 3-phase circuits, AC/DC motor drives, and PLC controls.
