We are growing, and as the Director, Corporate Facilities, you’ll be responsible for ongoing space planning, including the development and execution of space strategies commensurate with company headcount growth in our Corporate and Buying offices.Taking the lead on the strategic planning and management of preventative maintenance, planned and on demand repairs, and capital infrastructure replacements for corporate buildings/buying offices and distributions centers, you’ll manage the Corporate Facilities team and multiple 3rd party vendors, consultants, architects and contractors. This position requires a minimum 15 years of Corporate Facilities experience and 10 years’ management experience. The successful candidate will have both the ability to envision workplace strategies and an in-depth technical understanding of trades involved with new buildings/remodels, preventative maintenance, and repairs.A college degree in engineering, construction management, or related discipline, or equivalent work experience is strongly preferred. Facilities software (Service Channel) and Oracle financial programs knowledge a plus. Occasional travel required. Major Responsibilities include:Develop space strategies and plans to address increasing corporate headcount across the organization on an ongoing basisDevelop strategic plan for the cohesive management of all corporate office and distribution center facilities needsManage the development of expense and capital budgets and manage performance on a weekly basisManage the sourcing of 3rd party vendors, consultants, architects and contractorsFacilitate change management processes for corporate workplace environmentsCreate business cases and financial analyses for projects and initiativesCreate presentations for audiences from senior executives to associates Initiate plan for RFPs, bids and auctions, and negotiate favorable terms and pricing to reduce cost per transactionEmploy continuous improvement strategies to create best practices for the planning, construction, renovation, maintenance and repair of corporate buildings Perform special projects as neededBurlington is committed to being an employer of choice.
