Join us as we revolutionize the funeral industry across the nation.We currently have an opening for a DCN Manager II to support our Greater Tampa, FLlocations.The primary responsibility of the DCN Manager is to lead and oversee the day-to-day operations of the Decedent Care Network (DCN), Care Center, financial performance, Team Member Development, customer service standards, and company reputation within the community. This position is an exempt position and will have supervisory responsibilities. The DCN Manager II is responsible for overseeing a Care Center that services 6000 calls per year. At this annual volume, the role provides leadership to a team working two shifts and a group of 5-10 transporters. Overview & Responsibilities: Contributes to overall efficiency by maintaining open and effective communication and maintaining accurate and timely client filesLeads facility management to include ensuring the fleet of vehicles and all areas of the building and grounds, i.e., landscaping, painting, and parking lot are adequately maintained and always in working orderDrives revenue, sales, and business results, and oversees the completion of open tasks timelyPartners with peers, and supervisors to ensure smooth implementation of any new company initiatives and proceduresLeads weekly updates with the supervisor to share and exchange resources and to ensure goals are metOperates and leads the development and implementation of new office technologiesManages deliverables; organizes and coordinates workflow, manages multiple tasks, deadlines, and projectsHolds self and direct reports accountable for all customer service standards as implemented for appropriate brandsHolds oneself and team accountable for completing all company assigned learning assignments, including but not limited to compliance, i.e., OSHA, FTC, harassment preventionLeads and holds team accountable to ensure the completion of administrative components accurately and timelyLeads the coordination and delivery of staff meetings - delegates when neededOversees and ensures the fleet is always shown ready and assists with maintaining the overall cleanliness, proper fueling, tracking of mileage, scheduled maintenance, and stocking of suppliesLeads key performance indicators, tracking removal cost, inventory, and vehicle mileage and scheduled maintenance and cooler logsLeads staffing to meet business needs, including hiring, onboarding, and training of all new hiresSchedules, coaches, and develops Team Members, and openly communicates to appropriate Team Members areas of successful performance and performance needing improvement to meet business expectationsPartners with Home Office shared services to ensure all standard operating procedures are followed and adhered to, i.e., Human Resources, IT, marketing, accountingModels and demonstrates empathy, emotional intelligence, and mindset of servant leadership to all internal and external stakeholdersLeads labor-management ensuring the team is working as scheduled, clocking in/out, taking breaks as scheduled, and avoiding overtime.
