Northern Trust Asset Management - Investment Solutions team is looking for someone interested in investment solutions and reporting with strong attention to detail and proof-reading skills. This position is a hybrid of product support, investment reporting and marketing. Our team supports Investment Solutions from inception of product to delivery, as well as reporting and client service.The Associate Product Specialist, Investments position supports the development, production, maintenance and distribution of digital and print marketing materials and communications for Investment Solutions products and services, to both external and internal audiences. The specialist will have responsibility for ensuring product information, materials, databases and websites are updated based on latest data, regulatory requirements, and sales or service requests. The specialist will work with product management, sales and service teams, marketing and compliance to ensure accurate and compelling product information is delivered on time meeting various deadlines and requirements. In addition, the specialist will be tasked with ad hoc projects relating to process improvement, research, and various strategic initiatives to support the goals of the business.The key responsibilities of the role include: Assists in the development and production of sales and marketing materials and communications specific to Investment Solutions products and services, both digital and print, including writing, editing, proofreading and formatting Assists senior staff in providing clients, prospects, consultants and/or financial intermediaries with ongoing updates about the investment philosophy, process, and performance of specific investment solutions such as multi-asset turnkey, model and custom portfolios Prepares materials for smaller and mid-sized institutional accounts or programs covering quarterly or monthly performance and commentary, factsheets, pitchbooks, and accompanying thought leadership content to service the client or program Works closely with product management and senior staff on new business initiatives and consultant database updates Assists in compliance and audit requests covering product materials and reporting Support the maintenance of a multi-page membership-based website for financial intermediary clients, including content management, ongoing updates and enhancements The successful candidate will benefit from having: Excellent proofreading and editing skills, strong attention to detail Excellent written presentation skills to assist with charts and illustrations within PowerPoint, Excel and PowerBI meeting branding and formatting standards Experience within a product or reporting specialist capacity in a financial field Project management, able to multi-task, identify and resolve problems while ensuring the timely production of quality deliverables Understanding of managed accounts or model delivery products and services with an emphasis on compliance and regulatory requirements
