Responsibilities: About Our Career OpportunitSummit Medical Group Tellico Village, adivision of Summit Medical Group, is seeking aPhone Operator/Clerkto join their practice.This is a PRN opportunity, working daytime office hours.Responsibilities:(List does not include all duties assigned)Skill in greeting patients and answering the telephone in a pleasant and helpful manner.Knowledge of medical office procedures.Knowledge of spelling, grammar and punctuation needed to record messages.Knowledge of computer systems and applications.Ability to apply policies and principles to solve everyday problems and deal with a variety of situations.Ability to work effectively with physicians, patients, staff and the public.Ability to establish priorities and coordinate work activities.Actively participates in site-level Quality Improvement Activities. Each employee will contribute to the continual evaluation site performance as well as the implementation and measurement of improvement activities that increase the quality of care provided to patients. Qualifications: Education:High School Diploma required.Experience:Prefer one year experience in a medical office setting.
