Job Description
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:Manages Preventative Maintenance program. Trouble shooting and repairs of breakdowns as needed.Identify and acquire repair/spare parts through appropriate means with management approval.Performs all required Process Control adjustments and maintain all associated documentation in a timely and accurate manner.Lead/ coach/train all team membersPerform all duties associated with advanced quality surveillance, safety/GMP adherence, and operation of the line.Coordination / liaisons between Filling & Assembly and Bulk ManufacturingCoordinate activities of Pack Tech II's & Pack Tech V's within assigned area.Other duties and tasks as required and directed by the supervisorCompetencies:Operate and perform all maintenance on a variety of machines and equipment.Capable of being fork-lift certified and licensed.Capable of training and coaching others on a variety of machines and equipment.Able to communicate effectively with co workers.Maintain and update all applicable records.Capable of establishing and implementing methods/projects to improve line uptimes and bulk yields.Ensure that the line and workstations are clean/free of debris and in compliance with safety/GMP standards.Keeps machines and equipment clean and in excellent operating condition as required by the specifications of each piece of equipment and machinery.Responsible for performing quality assurance procedure to insure that the products are in accordance with the specifications of each product.Perform related duties as required and directed by the supervisor.QualificationsMeet company attendance requirement for any pertinent training classes or on the job training.Meet or exceed physical demand and requirements for the position.Physical Demand and RequirementsGeneral, must be able to understand and perform quickly any instruction given by the supervisor effectively.Must be able to give instructions clearlyMust have vision corrected to 20/20 in both eyes and distinguish basic colors with no color blindness.Must have adequate hearing.Must have no musculoskeletal conditions that impede rotation, flexion, or extension of neck, back, and extremities.Must not be on any narcotic drugs of any sort.Must not be on anti-anxiety drugs or anti-depressant drugs without a note from a medicalprovider attesting that the medication will not interfere with the performance of the job.Must be able to lift up to 35 lbs. continuously and 50 lbs. intermittently.Must be able to stand, sit, and walk continuously for 8 hours.Must have no medical impediment to perform moderate to heavy duty work.Education and/or ExperienceHigh school diploma or general education degree (GED);Ability to lift up to fifty (50) pounds repeatedly without restrictionsAbility for work well in a team environmentAbility to work / stand continually for 8 hoursAll other qualifications of lower level Plastics Technician positionsMeet company standards and testing for this position#LI-KH1Equal Opportunity Employer/Protected Veterans/Individuals with DisabilitiesThe contractor will not discharge or in any other manner discriminate against employees or applicants because they have inquired about, discussed, or disclosed their own pay or the pay of another employee or applicant.
