Position Summary:
This recruitment is for Temporary Clinical Research Coordinator Assistant positions through UCI's internal temporary service. UCI Temporary Employment Services (TES) is continuously seeking applicants to assist in filling the temporary needs of the UC Irvine Medical Center in Orange and the UC Irvine Campus in Irvine. We recruit for this position on an ongoing basis in order to build a talent pool of potential candidates.
Position Summary:
Research coordination: finalize research materials (e.g., health education materials, research protocols); develop RedCap; recruit and consent subjects; proceed reimbursements; assist in overseeing research procedures (e.g., triage data, missing data); adhere to clinical research policies to ensure confidentiality, privacy and security of clinical data. Data management: communicate with the project team and supervisor regarding missing data, clinical concerns, and follow up with action recommended by the supervisor; provide the update on the recruitment, data collection to the team timely; assist the project team with tables, graphs and reports for manuscripts. Project management: schedule meetings, taking meeting minutes if needed, facilitate communication between team members.
Compensation Range: $24.95 per hour
Required:
* 2-3 years of clinical research experience
* Experience scheduling appointments and travel arrangements
* Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
* High level of integrity and honesty in maintaining confidentiality
* Strong attention to detail
* Working knowledge of computer software including Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint)
Preferred:
* Bachelor's Degree in related field
* Experience working in higher education or university environment
