The Stylist will establish and cultivate a strong and successful personal shopping program at Aventura Mall in which they utilize their established book of business, strong client development skills, solid business acumen and an intimate knowledge of luxury fashion to build relationships and drive Aventura Mall retail sales. Experience in working with high profile clients and brands in the luxury fashion industry is essential, combined with an ability to develop and execute strategies and action plans. They will provide advice, guidance, and buying services to customers with their advanced knowledge of products, trends, and services, and become a trusted consultant for each client. They will also be responsible for securing participation within the program by Aventura Mall retailers. This position might constitute for an irregular work schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays when shopping season becomes busier as demand is need-based and appointment driven.PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIESBuild and grow a current and potential client base by focusing on strategic selling techniques and proactively communicating.Effective and efficient handling of retail business agreements and relationships including but not limited to inquiries, follow-ups, negotiation of agreements and day-to-day administration.Build trusted relationships with the retail stores and their managers.Develop, implement, and market techniques to generate client excitement about new brands and retailers, designer collaborations/capsule collections, limited edition merchandise, trunk shows, special events and sale events.Manage merchandise, client Personally Identifiable Information (PII), and all transactions with meticulous record keeping and organization. Presented in shared document/system with key management on an ongoing basis.Prepare sales reports on a weekly/monthly basis and sign off on their accuracy before submitting.Shop for clients unavailable to personally visit retail centers and ensure their purchases are delivered same day.Lead each client through their shopping experience, guiding them to products and services that are particularly suited to their needs and desires.Drive the relationship with clients using e-mail, telephone, text messages and face-to-face communications.Create a personalized shopping experience for customers which is easy, inspiring, and productive.Observe the market, identify trends and monitor the main competitors. Based on observations, create sales targets/programs depending on the competitive landscape.Networking and marketing services on a regular basis.Establish a referral network with local clients, businesses, hotels, condominiums, etc. and find ways to maximize value from those connections.Develop a full working knowledge of the marketing and retail operations of Aventura Mall, including retail, restaurants, eateries and programs and events to support the servicing of clientele.Represent Aventura Mall with high professionalism and positive attitude towards clients, peers, retailers and management.PRIMARY ACCOUNTABILITIESActivation of incumbents existing client base as well as cultivation of new relationships to drive sales within Aventura Mall retailers.Establish and grow retailer participation via commission structure agreement.Create ease and responsiveness to shoppers wanting to schedule appointments.Single point of customer service before, during, and after the sale for your clients; it's imperative to follow-up, follow-through.Develop deep and lasting relationships with client base.Continuously provide your clients and retail partners with expert product knowledge and far-reaching insights about retail industry trends and future offerings.EDUCATION:High School DiplomaRELEVANT EXPERIENCE:8 to 10 years Personal Shopper ExperienceKeen knowledge of retail business operations and trends.Already own a book of luxury clientele and proven track record of experience within the sales environment.Ability to negotiate agreements and secure business/participation.Natural leader with an ability to influence decision making.Strong industry trend and commercial outlook with an entrepreneurial approach to business development.Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to navigate various relationships between clients, retailers and within the Turnberry organization with ease.Passion for sales and customer service.Organizational skills, and self-directed time management skills are essential.Patience, flexibility, and dependability will be expected.ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS:Highest level of professionalism and friendly demeanor.Goal-oriented, self-motivated and an entrepreneurial spirit.Must be available to workdays, nights, weekends and holidays.Strong written and verbal communication skills.
