Provides administrative support to assigned departments by performing a variety of administrative duties.

High School graduate or High School Equivalency required with 3-5 years of advanced secretarial experience. Prefer graduation from an accredited or certified advanced training program in secretarial science or a related area. Minimum keyboarding skills - 55 wpm. Must possess computer skills and be proficient with word processing and spreadsheet software programs.

Perform administrative duties to include typing, filing, dictation, receiving and routing visitors, sorting, and
distributing mail, etc.
Arrange details of meetings, participants, agendas, etc.
Maintain correspondence log, documenting incoming and outgoing correspondence.
Act as liaison between direct supervisors and other functional area department heads.
Oversee reports control activities for assigned departments, ensuring timely receipt by department heads and
submission to Center Director, Department of Labor, and Corporate office.
Draft routine correspondence for department heads' signature.
Compile and summarize standard statistical information.
Gather materials to copy and sort into training/workshops binders.
Proofread written material for accuracy, check for spelling, grammar, and punctuation errors.
Produce quality work and complete assignments in a thorough, timely and accurate manner.
Maintain appropriate personal attendance, accountability, and work productivity standards.
Plan, prioritize, and organize assignments to meet established goals and deadlines.
Operate in accordance with requirements set in the contract, PRH, guides, Standard Operating Procedures, and
corporate policies.
Complete all required training according to Job Corps and Company training schedule.
Advise and support students as a mentor and role model in the achievement of their learning and career goals.
Contribute to cultivation of positive Center culture which is free of harassment, discrimination, intimidation, and
disrespect to provide a safe place for staff and students to work and learn.

Other duties as assigned.
